The story
Every journey needs a first step. Ours was Mt. Kilimambogo, the forested mountain that rises above the plains east of Nairobi and is also known as Ol Donyo Sabuk.
It was the first time we set out together as Adventure Trek — a group of people who wanted to spend a day outdoors, walk somewhere new and see what was at the top.
